The teachers from the Third Primary School \u201cBratya Miladinovi\u201d \u2013 Ms. Tuparova, Erasmus Coordinator for Bulgaria, and Ms. Yondeva, participated together with teachers from Greece and Turkey in joint activities on \u201cTraditional costumes from different regions of Bulgaria\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Here is what Ms. Tuparova said about the visit to the Mehmet Tarman Primary School in Kayseri, which has 1,600 students: \u201cWe were greeted by students and colleagues with a rich music program and flowers. The parents had prepared an exhibition of traditional Turkish costumes, handmade items and traditional dishes. We visited kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, as well as a school for blind children, where we held a simulated ball game. We talked to principals about education systems in different countries. We attended a lesson in English and Math. Our hosts also walked to the university part of the city. We participated in a workshop where we made their traditional household items. We visited regional managers in the field of education, such as the director of education of Kayseri and the director of E-Twinning. We took part in the promotion of activities for handicrafts and got acquainted with Turkish crafts by making traditional products. We visited the old town of Talas and the ski center ERCIYES. We met with representatives of local authorities, who expressed their sympathy for the projects and their role in the development of education and training in Europe. Our entire stay was very friendly. Last night we were awarded certificates for one week of participation in project activities by the district director of education.
