Restored activities under the Erasmus + project – visit to Greece

The Third Primary School Bratya Miladinovi is restoring activities and mobilities under the Erasmus + International Project – “Festivals between European Communities and Traditions”, which was postponed due to the epidemic situation.

The project partners are Italy (Turin), Turkey (Nevsehir-Cappadocia), Turkey, ( Kayseri) and Greece (Volos).

The first visit of the project took place in Turkey – Cappadocia region, in November 2019. The next one-week mobility took place  – in the period 28.11 – 03.12.2021 in Volos, Greece. The teachers, Ms. Tuparova – Project Coordinator for Bulgaria and Ms. Tsirova, visited a kindergarten in Volos, where they presented traditional children’s games from the past. Through a presentation, video and pre-prepared games with students from the school, they presented the games “Blind Grandma”, “I play, I play a towel”, “Golden Ring”, “Hide and Seek”, “Broken Phone”, “Cold – Hot”, “Games with an elastic band “,” Yarn and button games “and others. Games with the children from the kindergarten were presented by the other countries as well. The teachers visited a school from I to VI grade, where a working meeting was held on the topic: “Different educational systems”. They visited famous archeological sites and landmarks in Mount Pilio, Makrinitsa.

At another school in Portaria, students presented a variety of musical instruments typical of the area. Next stops of the visit were: Chania, Miles, Moutzuris, Cala Nera, Archaeological Museum. An interesting workshop – a workshop was held with Professor Kara Canari from the University of Thessaloniki “Aristotle”. Teachers had the opportunity to make clay toys from antiquity, some of which are used by children today. Posters with messages to all children were also made.

The project participants received certificates from the visit and certificates from the University of Thessaloniki.

On the last day, the teachers visited Meteora – Northern Thessaly and Thessaloniki.

Preparations for the Third Primary School are already underway to welcome the partners in February in Bulgaria.
